Have questions about how we size our products? Here’s some more detailed information about how exactly we determine the size our letters and shapes.
Our wooden letters are sized according to their tallest point.
Keep in mind, our lowercase letters are sized proportionally to their uppercase counterparts. For example, a 12-inch lowercase letter (as pictured) will be slightly shorter than its uppercase version so that the proportionality of the alphabet is maintained.
All of our shapes are sized according to their longest dimension. Here’s an example of how we would size a 16-inch Kentucky State Cutout.
