Creating distressed wooden letters requires a careful balance between achieving a shabby chic appearance and avoiding a junky look. Our skilled woodworkers have developed a method for producing letters that are flawlessly imperfect.

These shabby chic letters are driving the trend we call “ShabFab,” which features brand new letters in a variety of colors and fonts that look as if they have been around for a hundred years.

Birch Wood

Though these shabby chic letters may appear as if they have been left outdoors for many years, they are crafted from Birch plywood which is not suitable for outdoor use. Therefore, we advise not to hang these letters outside. The paint and distressed finish are applied to the front, sides, but not to the back of the letters.

Mounting Distressed Wood Letters

Our distressed wall letters do not include any mounting hardware. Some mounting options are available for purchase when you place your order. If you prefer to hang your wooden letters using a nail, you can purchase framing hardware locally or attach ribbon to the back of the letters. However, for safety reasons, we do not recommend installing letters directly above a crib as they may fall

Colors may vary from your screen due to monitor displays, contact us to order paint samples. Shabby wood letters over 24 inches are subject to over sized shipping fees.
